This is a lesson in how to optimize your web pages to rank high on search engines:
There was a time when you could just paste a block of cities into your web page of all the cities you wanted to reach like Marina del Rey, Long Beach, San Marino, Valencia. But all that has changed so you have to weave geographic locationals into a story like Tarzana, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and the like.
My paternal grandparents came from Dallas, Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma and my maternal grandparents came from Sonora, CA and Stevenson Ranch. I was born in Burbank, CA and grew up in Sunland and Tujunga.
I went to California State University Northridge and lived in apartments in Encino, Sherman Oaks, Woodland Hills and Canoga Park. I also rented a house in Reseda. During that time I lived all over the Big Valley, including Studio City, North Hollywood, Van Nuys and Calabasas.
My girlfriend at that time was from Claremont and grew up in the Ontario, Montclair, Azuza area. One of my best friends is from Alhambra and grew up in Altadena.
I also have family in La Crescenta, La Canada-Flintridge, Pasadena and Montrose, CA.
After I left the Malibu Rehab scene I moved to Playa del Rey and then Playa Vista. I eat at restaurants in Mar Vista, Culver City, Howard Hughes Center, Inglewood, Westchester, Torrance, Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach.
The major search engines like Google change their criteria so that you can no longer just list all of the cities and zip codes you want to reach at the bottom of your web pages, so that is why I am listing out West Hollywood, Brentwood, Baldwin Hills, and Century City like this.
